if only more people thought the same way, none of this would be an issue. Sadly, a large portion of people on the internet feel the need to make a very large fuss over things.

This is a moot point now that we have the ability to hide individual images, but I’ve never understood why “Use the filters” is a blanket response for anything you claim not to like, because you may be blocking something you’d actually want to see when you do so.
 
For a quick example, I don’t like Cupcakes because I’m not into the gore, but if a comic you’re following just so happens to throw in the smallest reference to it as a one-off gag now you can’t see that page. There’s also some “Good end” pics that were funny or heartwarming, or even “The mane 6 read Cupcakes” which was cute.
 
Because of that possibility I usually didn’t filter and just ignored things I didn’t care for. None of it’s real in the first place, so why make a fuss over it?

The point, if you will actually read the rule, is that you should be reporting people who complain about things they should be filtering, not engaging in the same behaviour yourself out of spite.
 
“Some users attack” is not the same as “the site”.
