I can agree with that. As I said before, It’s not for everyone and you can’t satisfy many. Just seeing these get drilled into the ground because of content seems… petty. The moment you hate on their stuff, even from a creative critique they will jump all over you for not understanding them… It’s just one sided and It doesn’t really matter. I implore those into whatever fetish they have to pursue it if you feel you want to. I guess it’s more that I hate seeing some bullied into stopping. Like some get ‘hated on’ so they stop making that kind of art out of being discouraged. Don’t need a pandering world, but one that can objectively tell their side of the story instead of hiding behind a shield of Anonymous.

As far as this whole upvote/downvote debate goes, I personally don’t really give a shit what people think of the fetish itself, even if my pictures get downvoted for the grim content. I know people don’t like this content, but you can’t simply convince everyone that the content of these pictures themselves aren’t wrong for existing. You can’t bend people to view this content objectionably if they themselves hold that much resentment towards this kind of content.
 
At the end of the day, you cater to those you’re targeting. If that means you draw this all the time, then you pretty much know the drill at that point. If it’s just something for the commissioner, then the commissioner probably knows the drill too, as well as the artist being commissioned.
 
Anyway, again I love this series. SUPER good. Keep up the great work!

Setting the filter debate aside, the whole reason for the upvote/downvote system is so people can anonymously like or dislike an image based upon it’s content. If disliking, and thus downvoting, an image based upon it’s content is irrelevant, then the flip side is automatically irrelevant as well. It’s a public rating system, nothing more.
 
And for those who don’t like their fetish getting downvoting into oblivion, obviously you have a strange fetish that most people find weird or objectionable. If you can’t handle anonymous criticism, you should find a dedicated site to post your fetishes on. A lot of cloppers find grimdark objectionable, and a lot of grimdark fanatics find clip objectionable. If you fall in the middle, get used to everyone else thinking you’re a weirdo.

XD Ok… Look… I KNOW that a LOT of these things aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but downvoting on ‘disgust’ alone is kinda… oh hmmm… petty. Not everyone is going to appreciate THEIR fetish as well. That guy that likes Bukkake, but hates gore goes and upvotes all the Bukkake Pictures because it has the theme, but downvotes gore just cause it exists. In some hope that it will somehow DETER others from making more? Uh… no.
 
My point is that I don’t think I’ve ever really given a downvote to anything. Is the downvote even really NEEDED? You could just leave the count at zero and base it off of that. Gives them nothing to do, but put a comment about it if they want to say something bad. Meaning they have to COMMIT to why they don’t like it and be vocal. To which they can be susceptible to the rules if they give terrible reasons. Like a lack of filter understanding…
 
I suppose, now that I think about it, Any pictures made for ‘hate’ or ‘trolling’ might deserve a downvote, but I don’t know many cases…

I know there are many fetishes out there, and it’s perfectly fine that not everyone shares the same ones. But this is one that I find pretty messed up.
