For me it wasn’t so much that as it was the first establishment of what ponies have to do to relieve themselves. It wasn’t something I could think about until they established it in canon.
 
Now I know ponies are like us. If they have to pee they can’t just let it fly, they have to wait and hold it until they can use a toilet. With that simple fact, at least for me, it brings on a whole truckload of arousing thoughts that go with that implication…
