Can cider froth? Does anyone know that? If not, we can only say Applejack went with something more grain-based. Like a traitor. Also I’d be worried about the structural integrity of those jeans.

This is also one reason why I want more light on the picture. The lighting issue might simply be due to the software using sRGB (very common). – sRGB wasn’t meant for rendering, and shouldn’t be used for rendering.
Higher dynamic range gives better lighting:
Cheap camera has about 10 f-stops
dSLR are often up to 14 f-stops
Big budget movies use up to 15 f-stops
Our eyes can see up to 20 f-stops
sRGB had 8 f-stops
Blender will switch over to filmic in the future, which has 25 f-stops. That’ll make rendering much better. Now if more rendering softwares could jump ships.
But there’s no strawberries and isn’t a slush.
