You know, I’ll give you that. If I impersonate my twin brother and fuck his wife, that’s not cool, but if a girl fucks me because I said I was an astronaut, that’s on her.
Yes, this doesn’t apply to the picture, but:
It’s one thing if someone bases consent on believing a lie that due diligence could have exposed, but using the cover of darkness or disguise to pose as someone’s lover or other such indisputable fraud, you have to admit that is a crime. Informed consent isn’t just a buzzword or an issue of etiquette, it’s the minimum requirement for not doing something terrible to someone.
I’ve heard of that, and trigger warning I don’t care much for it. I don’t think lying should be a crime.
But anyway, that’s not exactly what’s happening in the picture. Twilight isn’t the one being deceived here.

Rape by fraud/deception is a crime in which the perpetrator has the victim’s agreement and compliance, but gains it through deception or fraudulent statements or actions.
That scene in Revenge of the Nerds where he’s in costume pretending to be her jock boyfriend is a textbook example.

I did not know the term, and now, after a brief reading of the wikipedia page, I can’t say I have an opinion on the subject.
In a hypothetical case, if person A has sex with person B’ while thinking that B’ is his/her twin B, and B’ was impersonating B with the intent of having sex with A, well… B’ is clearly an asshole and probably should be punished, but I’m not sure calling it “rape by fraud” is the right way to go.
As long as we agree that “rape by fraud” isn’t a real thing.
The meaning of ‘lying’ and ‘stealing’ depends on the intentions of the person that is doing the action.
The meaning of ‘raping’ depends only in the sentiments of the person being raped, not the person who does the ‘raping’.
Therefore, if a person is unaware of the sentiments of another while having sex, and this other person is feeling violated, there is rape without intention of the perpetrator (a.k.a accidental rape).

I consider myself a feminist, and I agree with BigBadSeed that you can accidentally rape. Again, his/her example is reasonable in the context of a couple who does rape play often and have a safeword.
