you know, you’re right, I didn’t take into consideration you took fatal vore as specifically and selectively as I do with the opposite (since I’m quite selective of what ‘non-fatal’ means). If you didn’t, chances are you’d be able to find a lot of ambiguous results fitting to your niche, but fair enough, that was a bad example on my part too, I see that now.
I’m still saying, you got that one big Celestia+Luna comic from someone like Shrabby, for every non-fatal piece made by him/her, or anyone else I suppose.
You know that’s not true, there are many-MANY more out there, you just gotta use complex search instead of relying on a particular tag. Here, let me demonstrate you a thing:
Non-fatal vore - vore && !(death || dying || dead || imminent death || fatal || grimdark || semi-grimdark || gore || guro || crying || this will end in death || post vore) - 4593 total results;
Fatal vore - vore && (death || dying || dead || imminent death || fatal || grimdark || semi-grimdark || gore || guro || crying || this will end in death || post vore) - 2024 total results;
And the last one, graphic fatal vore, as loosely as possible - graphic digestion || hard vore || cooking vore || gynophagia || fatal - 271 total.
I believe that in the past people, including mods, have already tried to make it seem like non-fatal vore was a huge rarity, when in reality it isn’t exactly true. Most vore pieces can be interpreted in either way, but the remaining ones appear to be skewed towards the cuddly non-fatal type rather than anything hardcore.
As for the second part… I am not really complaining, I don’t have any influence over the flow of this comic. Furthermore, I even enjoyed the next few pages! I was merely stating an opinion, a personal preference if you wish.

dunno what you’re complaining about really, I’m trying to find some non fatal vore material and all I can see are 46 pieces tagged as such, out of 6,616 vore pics on the site that is.

Seconded! Your idea of vore is exactly and completely the way I like my vore to be! Anything you write or commission is 100% something I’m gonna love. You include all the perfect, messy details without all the death. That’s a RARE thing to see in vore!
Welp, if that’s the case, then I am sorry to say but it means one more vore comic completely and utterly ruined… At least IMO. This had such a great potential too… Definitely a shame.
