one day I came across that thing on a bootleg toy site and I could not sleep for 2 days.
The problem isn’t the fact that its a fanart. the problem is the fact that its FUCKING CUPCAKES lmao

Coming from a bootleg NES like game. Thank goodness for the 8-bit graphics limitations or it could have looked much worse.

Not a great surprise, as most bootlegs have very light quality standards.
And by light quality standards I mean “I don’t care about quality, let’s just use this google images pic for my kids product. I’m a genius.”
And it’s not just the bootlegs that use fanart. One time Sega got in trouble because they used some Sonia fanart for Amy in a Sonic game.

I have the feeling that getting a few of these and putting them on ebay for bronies with a warped sense of humor could potentiallymake someone a decent profit.
