yeah i was at that site, still itll take me hours to learn this, possible have to mess with it for years since this stuff doesnt gel with me, I can do stuff in bash fine but for video editing and how i want to do it command line isnt how i want to mess with it. wish ffmpeg had a gui.
Here’s a tutorial to gifs with ffmpeg http://blog.pkh.me/p/21-high-quality-gif-with-ffmpeg.html
Personally I always set the dither to either none or bayer because else the file size gets ridiculous.
Ive did the GIMP GAP method of importing video frames.. pain in the butt. Ill try this ffmpeg method cause right now what i do is either edit the clip in adobe premiere of if dont need to add anything and want the clip i use Giffing Tool 4.1. Which i paid like 10$ for since i literally couldnt find another solution.
Also photoshop removed import video to frames long ago so that also no longer works… basically its becoming nearly impossible to get good quality gifs.
I used ffmpeg! It only works in command line sadly.
You can also use GIMP to make gifs (it’s what I used for my older gifs)
