Changelings follow Chrys out of fear, most likely. In addition, stealing love apparently feels good, as it sounded to me as if Starlight indirectly compares the act to an addiction. Of course, giving it feels better, it’d seem. I feel the Mega Evolved Changelings may be a metaphor for the contrast between the toxicity of theft and the happiness of sharing. Though, not at all explained very well. lol

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

So… Everyone just up and changed the first time they tried… Except Chrysalis didn’t. Maybe because she is the reason the Changelings became black and holey? Like they were some kind of insect fairy ponies and Chrysalis corrupted and enslaved them. Except that was a long long time ago and now nochangeling even remembers it. You know what would have been REALLY cool: If Celestia and Luna were all: “The… the flutterponies??? But they vanished two thousand years ago!” “Two thousand years? That’s about how long Queen Chrysalis ruled…”
