Seriously though, I suddenly want to see this song sung to an animation of Fluttershy going through the Sonic CD intro cinematic. Doctor Robotnik is replaced by Flim and Flam.
 
Most people use Dash as a stand in for Sonic, and that’s perfect for his cartoon/comic and post-Adventure iterations. But what people tend to forget is that Classic Sonic was very much a Nature Hero, fighting the living personification of Destructive Industrialism. So while Dash is definitely Modern Sonic, I think Classic Sonic is better played by a fellow Nature Hero, such as a Fluttershy with a backbone. As for Flim and Flam, they were an obvious shoe in for Robotnik.

I guess Pinkie isn’t the only one with that “super prehensile” tail/hair thing going on :3
