That is the real twilight
In my opinion,if it was a changeling impersonnating Twilight,he would be more than likely confused and probably wouldnt know that he was supposed to do the exact same dance.Sure ,he could think he was supposed to do the same thing but he could think he was suposed to do a different dance in answer.It’s one chance on 2 to make a mistake and to be discovered

Indeed. After Chrysalis saw Twilight do it at the wedding, she obviously knew it was something important to Twilight and Cadance. Being a species that specializes in blending in, you’d figure she’d let her subjects know of it.
Sure, Thorax didn’t know it, but that’s because HE got seperated from the rest and thus wouldn’t be present to learn.
