I know someone who is a die hard Sunset Shimmer fanboy and I have absolutely no idea why. He just thinks she is the best character and defends her and the EQG movies emphatically. Just refuses to accept any fault in them, despite all evidence I bring forward, he just dismissed them at “petty nitpicks.” I think that is one of the major reasons why I dislike the series so much, is because the fans are willing to forgive so much for so little in return.

Sunset Shimmer’s fanboys are the issue. It’s hard to enjoy the series without the the Shimmer freaks being such an annoyance.

Okay. Okay. I can see where you are coming from, sorta. You are right that I can’t accept that as a strong enough case to sway me, but thank you for providing something at the very least. It’s more than what I usually get. xD

1.) i’ll start with adagio  
she’s basicly queen chrysalis if she weren’t dumb. she’s great at manipulating poeple and doesn’t need the cast to be hit with the moron ray to fool others into getting at each other’s throat with her powers and is a great embodies the concept of “sex sells” with way she sings and moves her body what with the hip swaying in all, she was also not beaten by some “deus ex machina” the mane 6 had needed help to take her on.

Instead of simply denying my opinion because you refuse to accept that someone doesn’t like the series of films, maybe you could provide evidence to the contrary? Give me examples to prove me wrong. Show me how those characters are as good as you claim beyond just your personal preferences. Challenge my perceptions, or you are simply a loud, obnoxious child who simply yells at anyone who disagrees with you.

There are so many ways you are incorrect on that it’s comical. Adagio has no depth to her character aside form her design, and Sunset is just a weaker character to Twilight overall. Both suffer from being restricted to a mediocre series of movies.
