With Twilight Sparkle unable to find any way through the glass dome covering all of Ponyville, Trixie was free to begin her own selfish rule of the friendly little town, locking the mayor in a cage and declaring herself Ponyvilles great and powerful ruler. With no pony daring to challenge her to save ponyville, Trixie remained unopposed, as those that did often got a taste of the magic of the Alicorn Amulet she now wears everyday.
 
Trixie however wanted more power and control, it became an addiction, so she set off to conquer more of Equestria, gradually bringing every town and city under her evil rule, from Appaloosa to Manehattan, and finally: Canterlot!  
The Alicorn Amulet was so wicked and powerful that not even the ruling Equestrian Royalty could stop Trixie. Thanks to her Amulet she defeated the royalty in a magic duel. Canterlot, the last unconquered city, surrendered to Trixie, and she declared herself the new ruler of Equestria.
 
“It’s so wonderful being great and powerful, and now all of Equestria is mine, and no one can stop me! Not Celestia, Not Luna, Not even that Twilight Sparkle. Speaking of which, i wonder where she’s staying nowadays? Certainly not anywhere in Equestria, not while my new and bigger glass dome encircles the entire continent!
 
Lowly servants, i demand you to take me outside so i can admire my new kingdom”
 
Celestia and Luna where forced into being Trixies servants, and they frequently carried her around wherever she wanted, because she threatened to lock them away in Tartarus if they didn’t do her bidding. It was certainly a tiring job. Even the guards where forced by Trixie to accept her as their new ruler, although they where certainly angry and didn’t want to obey her, they didn’t have any choice while she has that Amulet around her neck. With that Amulet, Trixie remained almost completely unopposed, and those that did challenge her didn’t look so good afterwards.
