@Lawful Girly
Someone should write the High School Chrissy story with that angle.
It’d be super popular.
Chrys as the underdog dorky girl.
Shining as the dorky handsome guy and her friend who only has eyes for the school princess.
Chrys pressured by parents to take over the hive, then using that an excuse to try to tell him her feelings before he marries another and it all going wrong.
“Hello, person I would never willingly speak to under any other circumstances. How would you like for me to provide the bare minimum of polite attention in return for your temporary company? You seem painfully aware of your position in the pecking order, so I suspect that you will not be very displeased with this development. Please be aware that any overstepping of your social position with me (including but not limited to: making any outward indication that you believe that we are friends; ie trying to make jokes or speaking when not spoken to) will be met with either a polite chuckle or me pretending that I did not hear you speaking. You need not worry that I will speak disfavorably of my experience with you, for lowering myself in order to spend time with you is a mark of personal shame for me and I will make an effort to avoid admitting that I know you. Thank you and have a nice Friday Night.”
I had friends back in Kentucky when I still toured with the band, but I’m in Middle-of-Nowhere Indiana now and I don’t know anybody. If I wanted to walk into town to try and meet people, I’d be walking for about 45 minutes with no real guarantee that I’d actually find anybody (because Brookville’s pretty small anyway).
No kidding. I mean, I don’t mind being alone, myself, but it sucks to acknowledge that when you actually decide to seek company only to end up with no results…
@Dirty Bit
Chrysalis imprisoned her and tried to steal Shining out from under her (heyo) on their wedding day; as sad as it is to see Chryssie like this, I can’t really blame Cadance for not being comfortable with the idea of them spending time together, either.
Awww, don’t be like that Chrysalis. He does want to meet with you… Hey, why don’t you sneak on over to his house and play? That could work out and then you could get Shining to schedule a day where he can come over. {Also, your crush on him is obvious my queen. XD }

It gets even better when person A saying that is confused when person B they’re speaking to gets insulted by those comments.
’Ere we go!
There we go, honorable battle brother.
Battlefield: dakka
Social media: TAKKA TAKKA TAKKA
That’s how you break your phone, yo. Bullets are for the battlefield, comrade, not social media.
I’d love to see that.
It was fun to read that in a professional businessman’s voice XD
Ah, I’ve been on both sides of that before. Good times.
pastafarians do i think their most holy day is called friday after all
Eh, it’s kinda hard to explain =/ .

I have to admit, I find myself hard-pressed to hate her when she reminds me of myself.
Well, yeah, there’s that, but still, these comics have her in adorkable woobie territory.

This kind of portrayal of Chrysalis is adorably endearing, if not sad when you realize he’s married to a mare that hates poor Bugbutt.
