I think with Sunny, her sorta “posh” personality is like Rarity’s as well, which is why I like to see her as her counterpart. Although really I never thought about the reasons you described. I like it!

I don’t know how Sunny Flare’s supposed “evil generosity” would work. Generosity seems like something that couldn’t be so corrupt.
 
However, after learning how some shady billionaires of big establishments “donate” money into disruptive activities disguised as activism and other sinister activities that cause chaos and confusion among their oppositions.
 
I’m beginning to think Sunny Flare is potentially the most destructive and malicious out of the 5 Shadowbolts. Thank goodness she didn’t have the opportunity to act much in the movie.

Sour Sweet - Fluttershy

Sugarcoat- possibly Unicorn. Too much like Diamond Tiara.
 
Sunny Flare- Not sure, so probably Earth pony.
 
Indigo Zap- Pegasus. Pretty much the Equestria girls answer to Lightning Dust.
 
Sour Sweet- Earth pony. Reminds me a bit of Bon Bon. Probably because of the grumpy side of her.

It’s always fascinating to see artists’ choice on which Shadowbolt to assign to which tribe.

Well, the opening scene isn’t going to have humour.  
It’s just setting the story in motion.
 
If I do Adagio alone, the next scene would be her going to get Sonata. (Thinking of having her working at a fast food restaurant).  
“Adagio!”  
“Look at you. What you’ve been reduced to.”  
“Hey, it pays the bills”.
 
Following scene would be those two going to get Aria.  
So want to do a Transformers parody there.  
Fall formal queen Aria.
 
“Who disrupts my coronation?!”  
“Coronation Aria? This is bad comedy”.  
“Adagio? Is that you?!”

I think you could have Aria and Sonata there with Adagio already because that can create some comedy. Their humour comes from playing off eachother.

That Dazzlings story I was going to do, they would be going to Crystal Prep to build up their strength again, (since they’re known at Canterlot High).
 
I’m going to want ideas from others here with this story. I’ve a broad idea of how the story should pan out, but the finer details are hazy yet.  
For example, at the start I’ll have a meeting with a mystery character, (still not decided who it’ll turn out to be, either Principal Cinch, or Sci Twi. Other options are welcome too).  
It’ll be that character handing the damaged magic capture device to Adagio, and explaining there’s another in Crystal Prep, (Sci Twi’s lab).  
Now, this means Adagio will need to break in to that room.
 
Do I have Adagio on her own here (meaning I can do a couple of pages where she goes to get Sonata and Aria), or do I have those two with her at the time (then we can move straight to the next part)?

Yes! This is awesome. I think this was my funniest film in the scene. Poor Twilight xD
