There’s presumably a high turnover rate due to death/desertion/infighting. You might have never met the guy who’s your boss for today.
Whether that’s a good thing depends on whether or not this place blows up, though. Kinda hoping they make it, honestly. Looks less rapey-cannibal-y than the others, somehow.

Filly captured by raiders aren’t in good shape and don’t know what to do with them (implying they are only god to be eaten or body shielding or for making walls)
A large group of other raiders or just people from the waist that just wants to eradicate them (would like to she humungus ponified) or maybe they are coming to liberate captured fellows.
Or they captured the boss who looks like venus and think that it’s not there boss
