Lore: “Twilight was chosen as the pupil to a high ruler, and the youngest sister of Shining Armor, as well as an aunt of Flurry Heart. From birth, she was destined for greatness that sought the attention of being selected as Guardians of Harmony. She is beloved by her friends and others despite being born a frail and shriveled filly.
Her older brother Shining Armor shared her curse on volunteer and was rendered mute and lost the ability of his hind limb as a result. The curse linked their souls irreversibly, perpetuated the grief they shared for their fate, and can be seen in the fact if Twilight dies, so does Shining Armor. There is no specification as to why such a thing would do atrocities on the two in order for a selected heir.
Twilight refusal to venture those in desperate need of faith for her guidance on friendship, with the past Guardian of Harmony raised, and then the Unmarking when the Guardians refuse to take their thrones. This makes Twilight the only Guardian of Harmony to not have been previously selected to be called to other friendship problems. Twilight comments that she has no interest in taking the mantle as Guardian of Harmony, and wishes to let others lose the magic of friendship. According to the School of gifted Unicorns, “The first of the scholars doubted the magic of friendship, and was alleged to be a private mentor to the prize pupil.” It is unknown who was the first Scholar was, but they may have been the one to convince Twilight to reject her fate.”
Twilight: Oh dear, another dogged contender. Welcome, Unmarking One(no cutie mark), purloiner of talents. Mind you, the mantle of the Mane6 interests me none. The friendship in need, Legacy of Mane6, let it all fade into nothing. You’ve done quite enough, now have your rest.
@Nightweaver20xx
Are you running far enough away from the ladder before trying another plunge? In one of the locked houses near the taurus demon fight, there is some gold pine resin. Use that, or a lightning weapon if you manage to get one so early on him, lightning hits him like a truck.
@Nightweaver20xx
You can actually fight the Taurus Demon head-on if you’re careful about it. Let it get close, pull back when it takes a swing at you, then attack while it’s recovering.
@Wraith Stalker
Yep, stuck on the Abyssal Demon or w/e it’s called. I know the trick to run past him and scurry up the ladder to do a drop attack on his head, but I can only do like 2 before I make a mistake and he smushes me.
@Senile Old Pony
Actually I’m a veteran of DS2. I beat it and all of its expansion packs. The problem is the speed and unpredictability of DS3 enemies is so much greater that I can’t adjust fast enough.
@Nightweaver20xx
Honestly that is probably par for the course with DS3. The combat in DS3 isn’t very good to begin with and by the sounds of it this is your first go at Dark Souls. When it comes to dodge rolling try waiting til just before they swing, not while they’re cocking back, to roll. If you roll before they’ll just TF2 aimbot style hit you. If worse comes to worse I’ll grab my mic and put down my summon and talk you through the basics.
@Nightweaver20xx
Don’t focus on dodging and parrying yet. Get a solid shield and focus on basic block-strike-block tactics and stamina management first. Enemies in 3 are very fast, so evasion isn’t always a valid tactic, especially if you don’t have experience from the previous games.
@Nightweaver20xx
I know how you feel. I sorta did the same thing on Dark Souls 2, except it was on my console. But then I thought about one thing that every Dark Souls players must do.
@Nightweaver20xx
While it’s unfortunate that you uninstalled it I can understand why. If you have it for pc and ever get back into it let me know. I, and many other Warriors of Sunlight, can help.
@Wraith Stalker
I can’t get dodge rolls timing down. I can’t get parrying timing down. Regular enemies are killing me before I can even think about a boss. The game is now uninstalled.
@Nightweaver20xx
That’s pretty much the game. Throw bodies at it until you learn how to do it, or look up a guide. And the people saying this game is easy are either lying to sound cool or are like my brother. Where they’ve played Dark Souls 1-3 so much they know the game’s engine/mechanics as well as the people who did the coding.
@Nightweaver20xx
I’ve been playing Souls games since 2009 so I have “a little bit” of experience, but overall it’s not that hard, especially the bosses (except for one of them). The first time is always the one that’s gonna kick your ass, it’s normal.

“My brother…unyielding sword of Equestria’s Princess…rise if you would…for that…is our Friendship.”
I’m already as hollow as I can be. I’m pretty sure I have no soul, and am just an empty shell of what used to be a man.

Hollowing is a real thing and it happens to real people.
Do take care, neither of us want to see you go hollow.

You got stuck on Taurus… Good luck friend!

oh ok I’ve been meaning to get a pc sorry i can’t help
PC, always PC with stuff like that. But I do use a controller.
what you play on?

I’ve since re-installed and have died probably 100 times trying to get past the first part of High Wall. It’s going slowly.

Practice practice practice. It’s the only way you can get better.

Sounds like me, it took me 3 days to beat ds3 due to past experience.

Why does everybody keep telling me this game is easy. Why.
