Mystery or not, it at least gives some credibility to the idea that - if that IS a crossdresser - Equestria, or at least the Crystal Empire, is a more socially aware and/or accepting place, seeing as how he/she can walk around the city in drag and not get weird looks or even beat up for it.

In short: Hooray for representation! :D
