Well, Twilight has thousands of years to work it out, and to be fair, she’s probably the only one that could.

Oh, I was thinking it was a mixed thing, ideally wanting both adopted and biological.

I am disappointed in Twilight. I expected her to be genuine in the “there are foals in need of homes” spiel, not just a backup for not being able to breed.
 
 
At the very least she could be adopting because she wants bat pony foals in particular, she’s not making those with Luna magical lesbian spawn or no.

Pretty sure that’s parthenogenesis. Which wouldn’t be as difficult, I suppose.

A species of lizard can do it. Figure something out.

And thank goodness. Don’t get me wrong: I’m not opposed to shipping in general (though there are a few ships that I don’t think make sense), and I certainly don’t mind the TwiLuna content in this blog, but as I said in the previous update: Even if it’s never addressed and never considered to be a problem, I’m glad the mod didn’t just take the route of “magic so we can.” I’m really sick of the dismissive writing attitude that creates that.
 
I kind of want to go more in-depth as to why it makes sense for a spell like that to not exist (yet), but at the same time, it would take more effort than I’m willing to put into a post on Derpibooru.
