I shouldn’t, yes, but… what can I say? I’m a…
I know quite a few people who do use the letter rather than the word it stands for, even if the word itself is just one syllable. It doesn’t make the pronunciation easier, but it does make typing/writing it shorter. To some, it’s just a habit to do so and you shouldn’t judge them for it.
As long as it’s not the full word, it should be assumed he just means the letter.
Don’t be ridiculous. No one calls Rule 34 “Arr-thirty-four” when spoken.
It’s not really grammatically incorrect. The letter R is pronounced as “arr”, thus the word “an” is correct.
Pals know when to use “a” and “an”… It’s like when “cake” is appropriate, and when “death” is appropriate.
Come on I thought we were pals
ColgateFIM’s lucky that isn’t an offence punished with banning! The duck badge is too good for them…
I know right? ‘An’ proceeds vowel sounds, while ‘a’ does not. It’s easy to sound out. Jeez, some people!
I agree.
So cringe-worthy…
Your duck badge is well earned.
Damn that’s hot, someone needs to make an r34 version of that
Yep. It’s actually my worst fear. Parasitic worms have been my greatest fear since I was about eight. There are worms that can find their way inside your eyeballs, your intestines (Which most people know about that) and even your brain. No place in your body is safe.
Jesus Christ. I already knew about botflies, but I didn’t think any animal that had eggs small enough to hatch INSIDE the brain, but apparently pork tapeworms do.
Even worse. It’s worms that bore holes in your brain. At least the other one is caused by prions, out of control proteins, and were not caused by living creatures.
A disease that bores holes through your brain.
Forgive me for being so God-damn stupid, but what exactly am I looking at here?
Ah, good old Creutzfeld-Jakob disease, always a crowd favorite.
HOLY SHIT, THAT’S CREEPY. Good one.
You mean like this? WARNING! EXTREME ANXIETY OR JUST PLAIN HORROR MAY OCCUR LOOKING AT THIS IMAGE.
Same, but more holes.
