The writer said that was supposed to be Greta from the show. The artist didn’t know Greta and Gruff were both actual characters from the show.
I think, based on context of the pages I’ve seen on this website, that it was implied to be the Greta from The Treasure of Griffonstone, given that the writer confirmed that she intended one piece of dialogue spoken by Grampa Gruff from the same episode.
Having said that, I’d buy that.
The re-releases and special editions are good to me. They make a bit more sense to those little glimpses and scenes we didn’t quite get the first time.

Greta is part of the most recent Friends Forever comic and they used the wrong character model for her, she looks like a fat pidgeon. A silly mistake, but a couple of people are using it to spout their hatred and drama.
Such a trivial error shouldn’t cause any drama, really.
