Well yeah, but Trixie and Gilda did even less than her in their original antagonistic roles and look how popular they are. So I just find it odd Suri gets a pass on this. Is it because everyone just focused on Coco? Not exactly fair, when Suri could lead to some fascinating delves and such with her character.

Suri’s claim to evil is so petty and mundane in comparison, few want to do anything with her.

Ah yes, Suri Polomare. One of the most, if not the most, least appreciated antagonists on the show. It’s funny how we can devote so much time and care to villains far worse than her, yet Suri gets villified quite a lot and there aren’t that many fics devoted to her. I can only think of one fic that redeemed her and she doesn’t get that much art.
 
I actually think she could be redeemed. A backstory detailing how she became the way she did would be a perfect dark mirror as to what could have happened to Rarity if she didn’t have her friends.
