well it’s a good thing you told us all what’s going to happen then. clearly gashiboka wouldn’t want to upset you by doing something you didn’t predict. now we don’t even have to read the comic anymore!
The prophecy must be fulfilled.
It’s an important plot point, not just a come-and-go thing.
If it isn’t, then the story just isn’t worth it.

It could be said the prophecy is true, because the mane 6 (excluding Twilight) are here, now and we’re meant. Time travel is weird that way. But still undoubtedly awesome.
Or it could be said that the Twilight we know is gone, after having seen all her friends die. It could be metaphorical, like, a part of that person or their identity is dead.
Either way, this is great!
