(Un)Fun Fact: One of the herbal remedies against hemorrhoids (swollen anal vessels) is the comfrey root (as mentioned in the 5th panel), which is commonly found in European damp grasslands, mostly in Ireland and Britain.
It has anti-inflammatory properties and ideal for healing wounds, sprains and joint pains; however, the organic chemical compounds in the comfery root, pyrrolizidine alkaloids, has been known to cause damage to the lungs and liver, as well as cause cancer, when ingested… which is why it was banned by the FDA the marketing of comfrey root products for internal use
If I were Pinkie, I would worry about a lot more serious problems than just getting extremely embarrassed over swallowing something that is meant to be shoved up to where the sun don’t shine…
