[semi-nsfw] flat [character name] tags

Started this here, but probably better in its own topic…
 
We now have standardized busty character tags, can we please get the same for flat chests?  
delicious flat chest covers most of them by now but to specifically get one character is hard, it does not show who it applies to in the picture.  
Some characters already have their pun tags, but would probably be good to get this standardized, too, so it’s easier to find specific characters with that trait.  
(Some pun tags existing rainbow flat, flatchestia, flatdagio dazzle, flatlight sparkle, flattershy)  
Would imagine it like the busty tag, such as “flat chested NAME” or so.
 
Any input/opinions appreciated.

As you already know from the other thread, i’m opposed to that; given how uncommon these tags are, and also given the fact that most of them already are standardized in their own way (all of them are naturally are going to have “flat” somewhere in them, which is not like having to guess through many variables and obscure puns to find a tag like the breast ones are), trying to alias them would be standardizing just for the sake of standardizing, and would also only make the tags even more cumbersome.

Well, really, if you can keep the “flat-name” thing going like on the ones you listed. Then that’s the same form of standardization and including silly names. You just gotta keep the pattern going for all of em~
 
Like changing Rainbow flat to something like flatdash or what have you.

And again, I see no issue with it.

These pun tags don’t really irk me like the busty pun tags (probably for the reasons that Mildgyth mentioned). I wouldn’t advocate much either way.

I am not sure what you are suggesting, should I just invent tags for characters that don’t have them, yet? But if I just invent new ones now, then I am the only one who knows them…  
Nobody else will know and use them and it will make finding the good stuff for specific characters harder on both ends?  
Wasn’t the point of the busty standardizing to make finding and handling these easier for users, too?

I’m not sure what are you trying to argue here.

In my opinion this tag falls under the same issues the boob and futa tags had. But, these tags aren’t as crazy as the others. As Zeb said they are already mostly standardized under “flat [character]”, so it’s just a question of catching the ones that don’t fit and aliasing into the standard users already adopted.

I’m trying to argue in favor of adding standardized “flat chested rarity” as a tag instead of coming up with pun tags for all the characters that not have them yet (taking Rarity as an arbitrary example here) and to add these same standards as the main tags for other characters that have their puny already

I probably appear like a whiny bitch by now ^^, but that’s just it - quite is not the same as actually… it would be easier to use with real standardized tags :s

Aye, Mild is right: users already chose a standard, it would not make sense to impose a new one. Now the only thing to do is make the tags respect that user-grown standard with aliases.

I’m not sure if I brought that across, I don’t want them as the main tags to replace the pun tags  
I would like them to be aliases for those so I can always search for  
“flat chested CHARNAME” and then see the real tag is whatever and use that instead then (so for instance if I want flat Fluttershy and search for “flat chested Fluttershy” I see it’s an alias for “flattershy” , know what I mean?)  
I don’t know about the hardware and stuff derpi uses, would that introduce too much strain on everything? If not, what exactly speaks against that? :s

Oh yeah in that sense it does make sense, I was going for a “Flat [character]” standard myself, same thing.

Well, they’re already standardized really. Aside from a couple of outlyers~

yes, the way they are is perfectly fine. I am against having them all go to “flat chested x” like what Arma wants.

I think Arma was agreeing with BG about having them just be in the aliases, not displayed. [But I can’t speak for him]

If the standards are aliased into the puns, then that would be the best choice.

Whether the standards should be displayed as the main tag or hidden behind the pun tags as aliases notwithstanding…
 
Am I right to say that we have an agreement that the standards would be helpful to have?

It was never really in question, the standard tags were always going to be there. There are just a lot of people who want a better way to find these tags without hiding the fun names.

Would this thread be a good place to collect existing fun tags then so the standard aliases can be applied to them?
