Is there a certain level of editing were the tag doesn’t apply anymore?

There’s a certain level of editing where the screencap portion no longer applies, and this is the case when you cut out just the character, normally.

Hey, is it okay if I get some help with tagging under artist:徐詩珮’s works? A lot of works that should be tagged with the traditional art tag that aren’t tagged as such.

Please also let me know if you figure out what their artist tag should be. It seems they’re still getting tagged with a combination of artist tags, but all of them appear to be the same person.
 
I’ve reached out to the artist, but haven’t gotten a reply - if you happen upon a really good way to try to contact them in your work please let me know and I’ll try again.

Got it. I just did a quick search since there was one newer thing that they did that was an edit of another person’s art, but I couldn’t find the original artist. That’s how I found out about the issue.

Got it. Right now im just trying to haul ass on the traditional tag. My arms and left hand is very sore.
 
Also to add onto it, I know the person who made the edits is probably the same artist. I remember there was an issue very early on with them ir someone like them editing other’s art without permission. This was before an official tag was made.

For the images under .svg available,dead source, should the svg tag also be removed if they were not uploaded as SVG?

If there is, in fact, no svg available anymore, then I would say yes.

I just noticed https://derpibooru.org/tags/spoiler-colon-s02e01 for some reason didn’t exist, only the return of harmony does/did
 
Should this not exist and be an alias, like is the case in later seasons?

Yeah. . . They either didn’t care when they selected these pictures to represent the seasons or had no idea what they were doing. Or both :D

Does “other shows” mean “other franchises” or specifically shows? I had the thought that ponymon could/should imply original species, but now I see that may not be the case. What’s the intent, here?  
On second thought, pokemon specifically does have a show. What would the answer be for a franchise definitely without a show - e.g. how about this dremora pony from Skyrim >>232681?  
(Incidentally, taking a glance at Skyrim pics and finding some argonian ponies, it seems lizard pony exists but doesn’t imply original species. Is that an oversight, or is there a reason for that too?)

Does anyone have ideas on what to call a tag for this trope and similar?  
It’s somewhat common in FiM and I realized after noticing the mouse in >>246389 that it would be difficult to find such background events when looking for them. I’ve been looking at predator-prey-related tags lately and that trope really doesn’t seem to fit existing tags (predation apparently is actually for when eating, predator and prey mostly are used to point out griffon-pony relationships, etc.). Do note, while oddly-specific, it clearly is a trope as TvTropes points out: real flying carnivores do not swoop in horizontally to grab living prey from land, and it’s done because actually showing an eagle drop a turtle onto a rock to smash it then ripping its guts out would be…a little unsafe for Saturday mornings.  
Ideally, any such tag would cover any predator carrying off living prey for presumed consumption, not just birds, so it’d also capture that time something in Discord’s dimension grabbed Post Haste, and deal with a lot of implied vore scenarios, for good searching/filtering.
 
Relatedly, I’m not sure what to do about the ‘predator’ and ‘prey’ tags.

The tag webm should imply animated.
