The Guilded Pistol (NSFW, Anthro.)

The Royal Equestrian commission is holding a competition for a Million Bit worth Handgun. They had set up flyers all over Equestria advertising this event. One flyer read as follows:

(That is the style of character sheet will be used, i will be starting when and if others partcicpate. And the setting of this is basically a slightly more urban Equestria, also, it’ll be more of a killing contest if anything, the last stallion or mare standing receives the Pistol.)

(Id reccomend having one or two more in reserve. Also, a warning, my response time has become limited to evenings and early mornings due to crappy internet at work during monday - friday, the exceptions being when im confined to my home or a holiday such as labor day is being celebrated.)
 
(And i dont have anything against species choices, you can be what ever you want…as long as its not a human. Considering this is supposed to be anthro.)

OOC: That’s quite alright, friend- I don’t expect instant responses out of anyone. Do it when you are able and when you feel like it, my friend. And aye, I’ll see about adding a couple more victims here.
 
Nay- I wouldn’t play a human. I use species to their fullest extents, to be honest- it’s weird playing a deer. I think it’ll be interesting.
 
If you would, that’d be fine- I’ve always been rather poor at starter posts.

It was about 3:00 in the afternoon, a line of contestants of all creeds and species had lined up for miles to sign up for the contest, Fletching had been in line since 4 am. and now she was 13 spots away in line, two spots ahead of her stood a tall Pegasus with a pair of robust firearms.

Neat. She remains waiting in line. :I This isn’t really the place to strike up conversation and she doubted a proper team would form here in line.

Eventually the line thinned and it was finally her turn. A stallion running the signup looked up at her “Name?”

“Fletching,” is her comment, shifting her weight on her cloven hooves.

He wrote something in a paper infront of him, “Age?”

“Twenty-seven.” She produces an ID proving said age. And name- would you look at that. She might be who she says she is.

He looked over the ID. “You seem to be in order. Welcome in. The gathering area is over there.” He points to a small stone arch. “The first round starts in an hour, ammunition is provided a Half-bit per Round.”

“Very good- thank you.” She heads right on in to this ‘gathering place’, already a bit on edge. Not much reason to trust the others in this free-for-all game of ‘airsoft’. Yeah, we’ll go with that.

An hour later, an announcer came on over a Megaphone “ATTENTION! THE GAME IS ABOUT TO BEGIN! THERE ARE ABOUT 1500 OF YOU HERE! ONLY 50 OF YOU WILL BE COMING OUT! IN A MINUTE YOU WILL BE TELEPORTED TO THE ARENA, PLAY SAFE AND FARE!” he then smirked as he whispered something to a Royal guard, and a moment later portals opened. “One more thing, teams are permitted, and recommended, for this round.”

She looks around the others a bit before the get teleported- she’s quite ready get her move on, her hand on her bow.

The arena was a massive industrial city, basically a massive complex of factories and skyscrapers. She had three others, eyeing her and each other carefully. One had a P90 Submachine gun , another with a SPAS-12 Auto Shotgun. The last had a massive broadsword. In a few seconds, the start alarm would sound, and all hell would break loose. She would need to time this carefully, with luck they’d, go for each other first.

“Did you really bring a broadsword to a gun fight?” She waits, fur raised in anticipation for the alarm. Her first target is the shotgun wielder- those don’t need to be accurate. Next is the P90 dork. This all comes naturally, of course. Next problem- is there cover nearby?

Oddly enough, there happened to be several wrecks of old tanks and vehicles. Plenty of cover. In fact, there wasnt anything saying that there werent a few combatants hiding behind or in the vehicles.

They’d been teleported. No sense in figuring any would have been teleported into vehicles. She keeps her eyes on the others, her hand on her pistol. Her fluffy deer tail wiggles a bit in anticipation. How exciting. Like practicing at the range, only this time she’s got something interesting to win.

And then, finally, the alarm, an old, damaged Air Raid Siren, went off, sending a loud, creepy noise, raising and lowering in pitch.
 
The shotgun mare raised her weapon only to be decapitated by Mr. Broadsword. And suprisingly good ol’ P90 lost their head as well. The Sword stallion was surprisingly fast with shuch a huge blade, and then she set his sights on Fletchling.

Very smart. She lept back from range and raised her Tec-9 to prompt him to stop. “Chill and we can work this out together. You’re fast but your range is awful. You could use the help.” She does not remain stationary, the quick deer keeping herself out of range.

The broken alarm continued to sound, ominous as it echoed through the whole city.
 
Sword Stallion : “Ugh….fine”

“Sheesh, that’s loud. Let’s get moving- we don’t want to stay in the open.” She spoke quickly, although it wasn’t difficult to understand her. She picked a direction and headed off that way, watching her back a bit with sword boi

But it didnt take long for them to be sighted by a pair of snipers, as a bullet bonced off the back of the Stallion’s blade.

Realizing they’re being shot at, she grabs him by the shirt collar and rushes the both of them to get behind the nearest anything.

But it was quite difficult, as the sniper duo both had 2 differnt angles on them, one reported the position to the other. Perhaps a good idea would be to get into a building.
 
And meanwhile, the sound of the alarm got only crrepier, as it began making a horrible grinding noise, and lukily for Fletching, it threw off the shot of one of the snipers just berofe she would be kilt.
