They came in droves, clanking and chinking in unknown mail armor. None survived the slaughter. Driven to hide in the dirt and the shadows like worms we wait, hoping. The humans have come.

“That was five years ago” Now with the rest of Equis falling to my grasp we will soon have our new order.” Said a rough voice, a gloved hand slamming down on the metal table. The 3rd say back in his chair, stroking his mustache as he read the viewing tablet in his hand.
Across a young lieutenant watched nervously. Sweat dripping from his brow. “Yes sir..but there is much more resistance then we had anticipated.” His voice was timid.
The 3rd chuckled. “No matter, it is only time before they all fall before our might.” He got up from his chair and strode from around the desk to the window, his hands behind his back looking out at the black of space. “This world will be our new home. I’ll see to it myself.”
“What of the girl sir?”
He stopped and turned slowly, staring at the young officer with beady black eyes. Tension in the air. “You will not speak of Mrs Julia ever in my presence. Simmer is a weapon of mass destruction and a vital part of my plan. Do you understand?”
The man nodded quickly visibly afraid.

Human kind
After loosing their homes in the Alicorn war, they travelled to Equis. Waging war starting in Equestria they fought a genocidal campaign to rid the world of it’s native inhabitants. They fight with marines in suits, mechs, hover tanks, copters and orbital bombardments. They are ruthless and led by a tyrant. Humans are fanatical and see themselves as pure above all other races.
Ponies
Living in Equestria, they were ruled peacefully by princess Timira and Rosetta. They defended their country with huge spells and magic blasts and an air fleet of balloons and ships. It was a futile attempt as the country burned and the survivors were forced into hiding or underground, forming resistance groups.

Definitions
NHF- the space fleet of the human empire. Consisting of 15 pre-Equis warships of different sizes and a small host of civilian craft. These ships are the only force remaining from the HAW
Citadel- The massive Pre-Alicorn War space station. A floating city once a resort is now a refuge and military instillation. After the colonies were burned by the Alicorns it was humanities last sanctuary. Final battle ochre here where it was destroyed.
Ultra Marine- Volunteer group of purebred Gene pool A soldiers in bulky advanced armor. Special units and space combat specialists. Few in number and deadly/heavily armed.
Opening post
Simmer walked quickly down the cobblestone path, rose bushes on either side. Their white and red buds starting to close slowly in the evening light. She was wearing her usual attire, a plain shirt, belt and jeans. Of course her dash that also held her sword.
The blade was magnificent, a 10 foot buster of forged steel. She had created it the old fashioned way of their ancestors. It had taken a lot of persuasion to use the machine ship aboard one of the Frigates.
She chuckled at herself and kept walking, coming up to an intersection of the paths she stopped. A simple wooden bench sat to one corner, it’s boards old. Stepping towards a bush he delicately took a white bud in the palm of her hand. Taking a deep breath a small flame began at the center, quickly the heat overtook the petals. She shook the ashes from her hand, watching them blow away out of sight.
“Stupid Flower” she muttered to herself. Turning away back towards the way she had come all the way up the garden and to the large stone castle beyond.
It’s lights shone with warmth. She shuddered. It had once been home to the pony royalty. Humans were vile things she thought. She used to be human. But something happened to her one day..and only the 3rd knew.
She shook her head dismissing the thought and turned around quickly. The figure standing behind her brought her mind back to the garden. When she saw who it was se groaned in frustration.
“Hey Simmy!” Said a cheerful male voice. It was cool as ice but peppy. It made her sick.
“What do you want Vex?” She replied in a low voice. Clearly annoyed.
“Oh nothing, just checking on my favorite girl” He stepped over and tried to put a hand over her shoulder but she snorted in disgust and stepped away quickly.
“I don’t ever remember asking you to be out here with me”
He just shrugged and smoothed down the black tunic he was wearing. Very Aristocratic considering he was C blood and the son of a General. “Suite yourself but I don’t know any girl who would want to be out here alone.”
“Then you must not know many girls then Vex.”
He smiled at her for a moment before taking a step closer and bringing the back if his hand across her face. She stumbled back crying out in pain. Regaining her balance he ran two fingers across her cheek, blood dripping. There was gonna be a bruise.
“Stupid Bitch, you better watch who your talking to.” He smirked and fixed the wrinkles in his uniform.
In a flash she jumped over, grabbed his wrist in a lock an began heating up her hand. The fabric began to singe and smoke.
“Ah!! Get off me!” He squirmed away yelling and she let him go, he stumbled back holding the burnt cloth in his hand.
“You..You FREAK!!”
Her eyes got wide and she tuned tail and ran, past the bench and through the garden. Left right left right to the metal hate at the back. In one leap she was over and in the old city of Canterlot. Down the roa and to the left she skidded into an alley. She stopped. Tears down her face she sunk to the ground, holding her legs in her arms.
