They make their way to the cantina, it seemed just like any other seedy cantina. The changeling seemed to go off on her own, looking around until walking over to what looked like an ordinary citizen. She walked over to him and began chirping and hissing softly, the pony turned to her and returned with more chirps. The changeling then turned to face her companion.
 
“For now, this is where we part. If I’m not back in this cantina by midnight…then just go. Thanks again for everything.”

He nodded and passed her a comlink
 
“Because I know I’ll get bored and run off before midnight. Call me when you need a pickup, I’ll be around.”

“Ok…”
 
The changeling leaves, and follows her contact till they encounter a few stormtroopers guarding a vehicle who stop them. But a few chirps from them and the troopers nod getting inside, the changeling spy then shifts into a female officer when no one was looking and got into the vehicle. It drove off to a nearby outpost.

With that taken care of he kicked back, got a drink, and decided to kill some time

He grabbed the other comlink and replied
 
“Yeah, whats up?”

“I’m making my way to the compound, if all goes according to plan I should be at the cantina within 2 hours.”

“Gotcha, I’ll wait here while you do your thing.”

A few hours later and there was nothing. No explosion, no signs of a fight, nothing. It was almost midnight as well.

minutes later an old Venator class cruiser drops from hyperspace, the old thing had clearly been refurbished with not exactly the right parts, most tellingly one of the bridge towers being replaced with what looked to be the little brother of a hyper V cannon.

The cruisers attempted to open fire on the vessel, diverting attention away from the rebels

“there you are boys, let them see what the old lady can do!”
 
the venator opens fire, the main cannon mounted on the upper end letting loose a stream of hyperaccelerated slugs at the nearest imperial ship.

It hits the bridge and effectively disables the ship, the other attempts to escape into hyperspace.

Sperber: “guys did you get our little specialty to work? what do you mean untested we’re not scientists, hit it!”

The rebel pilot asked confused

“well, the imperials are fine tuning their engines of torture, Interdictor is the name, jams the hyperdrive so no one escapes… i… borrowed one of those things… didn’t come with a handbook though so… cross your fingers.”
 
the pirate technician punches it.

“Still there by any chance?”

The cruiser attempted to jump into hypserspace but was unable to
 
“Looks like whatever you did is working!”

“Sky, I might have run into…a little trouble. They found out that a few of the guards were changelings and now the base is on lockdown and they’re looking for spies…I need you to do something for me.”

He sighed a bit, although this wasn’t unexpected given how easy it was earlier
 
“And theres the wrench in the plan….Alright what do you need me to do?”

“To put it bluntly? Fuck shit up. Fuck it up enough to where the Imps are forced to evacuate important officers.”

“I like your style. I’ll do some scouting around and see what I can hit. In the mean time try to stay inside. You don’t want to be in the open when the fireworks start.”

“then it’s high time we finish this, all batteries open up on the last cruiser.”

As Sky approached the compound he saw a large contingent of Stormtroopers and other walkers guarding the entrance.

The batteries batter the ship’s hull and within a few minutes it’s destroyed.

Main entrance response would probably be too much to beat plus its kinda obvious so he looked for another way around
