sigh…i can’t say i ever had much of eather. i never managed to connect with people in or  
outside enough to make any real friends and the only family i knew was my mother and she never liked talking about her family.

Twilight: What were you mom and dad like?

my dad ran off when he found out mom was pregnant so i never knew him.  
mom was a hard worker but never finished school and did the best she could to make sure i grow up right even though it was tough on her

Twilight: So it seems you take more from your mother.

well she…was very trusting but…she could be stuber on some things. she wanted to make sure i finish school even if it meant she had to have more than two jobs it some points. she would come home just exhausted but she’d say it was worth it to help me… i got in my head at one point as a little kid that she’d be better off if i was never born and ran off…she found me an hour later at a playground and took me home and gave me a very stern talking to though and i never tried that again.

Twilight: So you considered yourself a burden for her. Handling two jobs, no husband and a load of stress was everything that you didn’t want to see from her. Please, continue.

well after i graduate i moved out almost immediately after i saved up enough for an RV and traveled for a couple years but befor that i had her promise me that she’d try and and go back to school after i graduated. i kept in contact with her though. when she got sick i rush back to try and support her, even sold the rv for whatever money i could scrap together…she…she fought it for a long time…

and what do you think happened? she died and i moved to these town.

Twilight: I’m very sorry about your mother. Did you have any friends? Did they come to you when they heard that your mother died?

no. i was pretty much alone at her funeral and i never stayed anywhere for very long when i was traveling.

Twilight: Your travels, where did you go before and after your mother’s death?

well before mom got sick i kind of drifted really, no real destination to speak of. i made sure to keep in touch with mom while i was on the road  
and after mom got sick i sold the rv to help take care of her…when she died i wanted to get away from it all so i scraped together the money i had left to move here and get an apartment.

Twilight: So you stayed a loner since then? But you seem to be a nice, young man. If you are a loner, why did you help Rarity?

well i wasn’t going to just stand there and not help her i didn’t think she’d get me into helping her run some errands just from helping her with her purse i would probably have walked off if she hadn’t stopped me.

Twilight: Then answer me this: Where do you think you will be right now if you hadn’t walked off? Would you still be alone? Would you be happy with that? takes off glasses I know I wouldn’t.

Twilight: Then why do you choose to be alone? It’s not very healthy if you think about it. No social interaction, no activites to do without a second person…
