TBF there are legit racists trying to trash the movie, and a lot of people who did like it are saying that the ones who are syain that everyone who dislikes it is racist are calling them out on it and saying that they don’t represent all of them.
 
But I get what you mean.

What happened to John Joseco? He used to be one of the biggest artists of the fandom. Did he leave?

Not to mention that unlike Ghostbusters 2016, “Everyone who dislikes this movie is a racist” is NOT the official stance of the creators of the movie.
 
Chadwick Boseman even said that the movie is meant to be enjoyed by everyone, not just black people.

Of course there are. There are Mexicans who are lazy drunks and Blacks who are crack-riddled gangsters. It’s not fair to look at any Mexican or Black and make that assumption, and it’s not fair to look at anyone criticizing that movie and call them a racist :P

A lot of people who liked the movie also called out Salon for that. Hell, Salon ended up literally doing THREE corrections to their article.

Well it seems like everytime I talk about something drama seems to happen because I sad that both sides of something will always have shit members and people should focus on calling out the shit members more, or when I talk about something I like and people shit all over it, it makes me feel like shit for liking it :/

I do feel like it’s mostly clear what people mean when they say “first black superhero” film. Just that explaining it takes away any punch.
 
Cuz what they mean is “The first black super hero movie that might be GOOD in an era where the film going public actually cares about superheroes again”

Yeah, but Blade is the movie that made people care about superhero and comic book adaptations again in the first place. It certainly doesn’t deserve to get disregarded :P

I don’t want to go to far into politics, but I was mainly referring to anti-SJW’s and while everyone calls out SJW’s for doing bad shit, they don’t seem to do it whenever an anti-SJW does something shitty. That is what i was trying to refer to, people are willing to call out the toher side for doing bad shit, but when someone in their won group does something bad, hardly anyone calls them out on it.

I liked the Power Ponies. I wish they got featured more than a comic or two.
