Season 8 Episode Discussion [Spoilers, possible leaks, rumours etc.]

Even if a child would kill hundreds, at worst it would end up in a mental institute. To lock a child in a dungeon is beyond ridiculous even for this shows standard.

Dubuc had quite an impressive resume prior to working on the show. She was a writer for Young Justice, Transformers Prime, Spectacular Spider-Man and Kim Possible.
 
So why did she do such a bad job working on MLP?

Eh, I liked Marks for Effort and School Raze.

Now that everyone is talking about school raze, I’m thinking back to it and realizing: Nobody actually saved the day, did they?
 
Like really think about it, did anyone contribute to the end result other than the harmony tree? Everyone else was either trying to figure what was going on, or stuck in a hole because they had no idea what was going on.
 
Well i guess Neigh did retrieve and warn the princesses, so Cozy couldn’t escape. So i guess he’s the hero?

Neigh wouldn’t have been freed without the Student 6. And the tree seemed to need to act through the Student 6, because they still needed to disrupt the array of artifacts by removing them by hoof/claw/whatever. The students figured that out by themselves.
 
The tree’s main contribution was to free the Students from the spell orb.

I still believe that the tree had no effect on anything until the students got trapped in that energy sphere.

Maybe this is a social thing that I’m getting wrong. I’m really bad at this stuff. But this is a discussion forum. Am I not supposed to talk about or reply to things? Is there a limit to how many people I should respond to?

That’s one of those episodes that falls apart at the ending for me. Like, I was enjoying the rest of it, but then the last minute or so left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Personally I first began noticing that pattern of yours during the S08 leaks and by now you remind me of Joshua and what he did to the pony Movie thread and dude, don’t be like him.

And, if it was, it would be appropriate for you to report them. But you didn’t report them, did you? You instead once again went after someone personally trying to change their behavior or drive them from the site.

You are supposed to talk about things and reply to others - that’s normal behavior on this site and social media in general.
