If it will be “a shot”, it will be at a few members not the fandom as a whole. A case of I Resemble That Remark! or. perhaps even Comically Missing the Point. Perhaps even a bit of Fan Dumb.

Seriously, in my personal opinion, the only ones that were offended by Fame and Misfortune episode were those the criticism or jokes are most directed towards when it came to the
pony fans in the show.

I suspect the “Twilight was better before she got her wings!” part was a line from Larson’s original draft for the episode. That would definitely be something he’d write since he loves poking fun at that whole thing.

It is making fun of the crazy fans, the ones willing to become a creepy stalker and obsess about someone to the point of becoming downright terrifying in their behavior or actions. Which is a very real thing, even if it may be more tame.

Now that I look at it again, what’s with the face? Isn’t the nose normally meant to be connected to the mouth? It seems like it’s detached from the muzzle, and with the coat color it could easily be mistaken for an EQG character.

I’m sure there’s been other moments in which a pony shoved it’s face in a window, maybe not at that angle though? Still seems.. weird?

If Pipsqueak did indeed get a new VA (which will be his third one now), that again raises the question of why the same can’t be done with Twist (who hasn’t spoken since season 2’s The Cutie Pox) or even Babs if the rumors about Brynna being unable to voice her are true.

I’d rather he try to make it work then make jokes about it then do nothing afterwards. I’ll say it again, pointing out your flaws does not fix them.

The onl explanation is Pipsqueak was intended to be a oneshot while Twist and Babs were intended to be recurring, so they were locked into those VAs who have to give explicit permission - while still living in Canada - to be replaced. At this point there’s literally no other explanation other than they just don’t give a shit…

I still think he did job at handling Twilight getting wings, all things considered. Even if it was mandated by Hasbro corporate, the writers and animators have handled the situation well.

Anyone still complaining, that’s their own problem. Especially since any concerns I had, as well the concerns of others, were cleared up in the two parter Princess Twilight Sparkle.

…Come to think of it, we haven’t seen Ahuizotl since Daring Don’t, back when we first discovered that Daring Do was real.

Every Daring Do episode since then has just had Dr. Caballeron.

Definitely. Caballeron is just an angry old horse with clothes. Ahuizotl is some sort of malformed demon dog thing with 3 hands, two paws, and a shitton of detail. Or at least much more detail than most average charactersm
