Equestria Girls 4: "Legend of Everfree"

Hasbro Studios’ president Steven Davis has confirmed that a fourth Equestria Girls movie is in development.
 
A previously revealed slide from Hasbro Studios’ 2016 entertainment plan presentation indicates that MLP Season 6 as well as “Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree” are planned for next year.
 
Speculate and post info as it becomes available!

I wonder if there are a human version of the Everfree.

Stephen Davis only said “Equestria Girls 4” though, not “Equestria Girls 4: Legend of Everfree.”

As I said, the title comes from Hasbro’s 2016 entertainment plan.
 
There is always the possibility the title will change (which is why I put it in quotes), but it’s very likely to at least be the working title while the film is in development.

Legend of Everfree is most likely the name of the movie.
 
I wonder if Human world Sunset Shimmer will appear in this.

I assume this has something to do with that Everton place mentioned in the last film.
 
“Legend” implies we’ll be getting some lore, which the human world desperately needs.

Baseless speculation:
 
If ‘Everfree’ means that there’s a human-world version of the Everfree Forest, then my first guess would be some kind of spring break or school trip episode, in which the CHS gang all head off to the woods, where supernatural shenanigans occur. Maybe we’ll see some cryptids that are actually Equestrian creatures that have escaped into human-world.
 
Just really, really hoping that they get to go somewhere other than CHS this time.

I don’t expect too much about this, to be honest. I’m still afraid I would be utterly disappointed, just like the case of Friendship Games.
 
That being said, I still can’t wait for it!

I just hope Cinch isn’t in the movie. Or if she’s in the movie, that she gets eaten by some sort of evil tree in the first five minutes.

If only Deen Cadence takes charge of CPA. If this is a Equestria Girls go Camping movie, which I strongly suspect it’s going to be. They could have both CHS and CPA girls on the same boat investigating this “legend” in the Everfree, while retaining mild amounts of the former animosity they had from the Friendship Games.

My current question right now is what does Cheerilee have to do with the legend? Given she’s not a big character, yet being in Hasbro’s 2016 entertainment plan, I suspect something is cheesy.

I’ve talked nwith one person who claimed that this is supposed to a humanized Wild Flower aka the Wonderbolt Academy recolor of Sibsy’s OC.
 
Of course, said person also claimed that the Dazzlings would be Kelpies or that Chrysalis would be the villain of the third movie…
 
So my money is on a new character, too.

Chibis…don’t tell me they’re going down that path again. Then again, even though the G3 chibi ponies looked hideous. G4 might just look better in chibi form.
