First of all, holy shit. Secondly, a clear all/all selected option for notifications would be amazing.

I appreciate the extra big banner at the top for the episode renumbering– it’s much more attention-grabbing, thanks for that.

I know I would appreciate this. I’m often going through old images to add in descriptions and sometimes the artist has specific formatting/etc that I want to make sure was kept.  
To me, it’s only a minor annoyance to just submit the change and fix it if necessary. But would be a nice thing to have~

For me, sometimes scrolling the wheel one click goes over more than the whole height of the box. So, to me, especially when editing long descriptions, it would be greatly appreciated.

I think that the personal forum post page should show comments made anonymously.

Reverse image search would help a lot in forums.

Doesn’t it already do that, or do you mean that all users should be able to see that?

Since early releases are going insane now, I think we should put a limit on how many should be uploaded because it’s getting claustrophobic and could make visitors angry.

Or, you could filter them.

And the blue thumbnail is misleading, they aren’t leaks, they’re just official releases in other countries.

“Pony with care Overseas releases everywhere! Remember to tag anything related to new episodes with spoiler:s08eXX (where XX is the episode number), and filter any spoiler tags you don’t wish to see.

How difficult would it be to add spoiler:s08 and all of the episode spoiler tags for those which haven’t aired yet on DiscoFam/iTunes to the Default Filter, and remove the episode tags as they air?

I don’t know if this is the appropriate thread to ask this, and if it isn’t then I apologize, but I have a suggestion on creating a new rule or adding a new addendum to one of the preexisting rules which limits the number of screencaps from the early releases from France or Sweden or to a lesser extent Australia to avoid spoiling those who don’t want to watch those airings and instead want to see the official Discovery Family airings. Don’t get me wrong, the filtering system in hiding the tags labelled “Season 8” and putting a spoiler filter beneath them work wonders and is working great for me, but I feel like a suggestion like this would be a bit better.

How do you imagine that being implemented? Like, limiting the number of uploads a user could make (easily circumnavigated by logging off)? Or requiring that episodes have to air in the United States before they can be freely uploaded (even though this is a European site)?
 
I’m not saying this isn’t possible, but the devils are in the details. How do you see something like this working?

We are an image booru - a massive database of all the artworks related to our subject. The social media front-end of the site sometimes hides that fact, but at our core we just want to vacuum up all the MLP images and tag them as vastly and efficiently as we can.
 
So, as a “data warehouse”, we prefer images be uploaded as quickly and efficiently as possible. And if that causes problems for the social side of the site we’ll do what we can to mediate that - but if someone uploaded 200 screencaps in a single setting that wouldn’t be breaking our rules. We would ask them to back off so that they are “sharing the front page” more, but it’s not rule breaking or spam - it’s literally why the site was created.
 
That the site has also become a very active social media site is wonderful, and we do what we can to balance the needs of those two uses of the site.
 
But in this case, “just filter it” really is the preferred solution.

Sure - I mean, we’re all making this up as we go along. And it takes all of us to do this site once. So your ideas are very welcome, and with stuff like this it’s ok to remind ourself why we did the things that were necessary for us to end up where we are sometimes.

Much like the previous suggestion for descriptions, I would like to view comments posted directly from notifications.
 
I want to read them but I also need to visit every last image and forum.
