I’m curious since I haven’t found anything on it so far, but I’m curious if it is possible to create an option to go to the messages page instead of going to the message sent automatically.

I would recommend subscribing to the Changelog thread, as that’s where we announce more minor changes that affect the user experience or are otherwise noteworthy, but don’t require a site-wide notificaion banner either.

- You said “go the long way around” without any context as to what that actually means. For all I know you could be manually typing “/messages” in your address bar. Either way, you were not providing any useful information to Binky’s inquiry.
- How am I repeating myself? I posted a screenshot pointing out the existence of the feature, then followed up suggesting that people should follow the changelog thread so they’re aware of new features/changes as they happen.

Are the lot of you moderators and devs still sure that there is no need for adding janitor bots to patrol tag changes and help with filters?

Using bots (aside from what we already have in place) sometimes causes more problems than it solves - but we did add a bunch of new staff to the site - about a month ago, and they’ve helped a lot.
We don’t “patrol” tag changes - but if you see something that you think is breaking our rules or needs attention, please report it. And if you need help with your filters please do not hesitate to ask for help :) You can report your own profile for a reason of “Other” and enter your question in the text field.

It’d be nice to have the option to mute notifications from images and threads that aren’t directed at you. This is especially useful for threads and comment sections that are rapidly getting new comments and posts.
So, instead of only having the option to either subscribe or unsubscribe, add the option to only receive notifications when someone writes @you.

I noticed a recent change:
Once an image has been uploaded, the box for text is significantly smaller once you open its editor. The ‘preview’ button is no longer.
This is greatly different than when you were first uploading it, and can be a pain to edit the description because of how long some artists make their descriptions.
May I suggest that we change this by making a ‘preview’ button for the description of an image still accessible once an image has been uploaded, and making the box of text larger to make it easier to scroll through?
