Well, the physics were kind of broken (at least in episode 1; supposedly they fixed most of those issues in episode 2, but since I haven’t played that one, I wouldn’t know)…

Except that everyone that complained about Sonic 4 WERE RIGHT AT THE END. At least we got generations.

(Good) Sonic fans do all the same cool/positive things as bronies, just in much smaller amounts and it gets less attention.

Joke’s on you! I liked Sonic 4. ;)

As a Sonic fan myself, I know how insane/scary the Sonic fanbase can be. (Heck I take heat from Sonic fans on DA just for LIKING the Sonic Archie comics.) Though, believe it or not, there’s plenty of cool Sonic fans to who don’t complain over petty things constantly.
 
Also, letting a few negative fans ruin something for you like your love for this cartoon, is kinda petty IMO. I don’t think the bronies are that bad honestly. (At least they make cool/positive things like fan-works, remixes, and even charities to help sick kids.)
 
It’s best to focus on the positives, rather then the negatives. I find the MLP fanbrats less annoying then the Sonic fanbrats personally.

When your fandom is being compared to the Sonic fandom at all, there’s a problem.
 
When your fandom is being compared unfavourably to the Sonic fandom, it’s time to just give it up and go home.

What I find disappointing is that the episode didn’t even air yet. Can we please wait before you guys whine?

What was so bad about Sonic 4? But yeah the fanboy whining about “green eyes Sonic” was annoying…
 
In fact Sonic fans are having a cow over Princess Sally getting a “new look” in the Sonic comic. There’s nothing Sonic fans won’t complain about.

But the show doesn’t even have an official best-selling console game yet…

So… Alicorn Twilight is a highly-anticipated new instalment in a long-running franchise, for which expectations have been set so ridiculously high that there’s no possible way that the fans who asked for it in the first place will ever be satisfied, and said fans are going to spend the next two years bitching about minor issues to everyone who won’t listen?
