@MysticBlare
Ok, I looked you up on the discord servers we share and saw all the sprites and animations you contributed to Pony.Town. I found some of your progressions interesting to see, like how you kept tweaking the butt for the walk cycle and stuff. I think nerds like me would love to see your guys wip for PT, maybe that’s something you could put together some day. A behind the scenes look. I also realized this leaping pony is using the same color scheme as your guys test pony, that was a coincidence btw, I found that funny. Thank you, for the great work you did and are doing.
Hell yeah, a Speedspriting thing. I love seeing how people do what they do. and I watch for new tricks to use in my art programs. I’m gonna try your Aesprite program soon, that’s what everyone is suggestion for pixel art.
@Torpy Pony
when you say work in progress, do you mean recordings of streams or uploading the final animations.
streams, no.
final animations, yes.
I have been thinking of some way i could save gifs of the streams. like a speedspriting thing and upload those. is that what you mean?
@MysticBlare
Yeah, Photoshop is not very pixel art friendly, I kinda gave up once I got to the rock tripping and did what I was comfortable with. I might have to learn that Aseprite program you and Purple Flix use. Watching your stream helped, I’m glad I stumbled on it when I was checking out your Tumblr, do you post your wip afterwards?
The animation itself looks pretty fine but damn those pixels are all over the place. I’d suggest next time cleaning up the pixels or do that drawn style you did in that other animation with them tripping over the rock. that looked really good when it got to the rock tripping.
