It's bad. In a good way!
The tree of harmony thing has thrown off the headcanon I had since watching episode 2. I was sure that the elements were simply the locket of the rainbow of light, split up into pieces so that no evil could use it against them, like Tirek pretty much did using his Rainbow of Darkness.
