Wallflower could have asked the teachers for support in socialising, instead of choosing to stay ignored and blaming others for how things weren’t the way she wanted. The fact that she also ignored the times Sunset saved her and Canterlot High, which she was present for, just adds to her bad character writing.

It’s not the fact that Sunset ever actively bullied Wallflower, but that she never made any attempts to get to know her and help her feel noticed. Wallflower couldn’t reconcile the fact that Sunset could be forgiven for all the bad things she’d done before turning over a new leaf, whereas she was always pushed off to the background and forgotten about.
