Honestly though, that 1950 - 1953 Hoover 29 model IS a quality vacuum cleaner if you can find a used one - brushes aside, maybe. Those might be an item that needs to be made by the user, anymore. I have a Hoover 62 (one of the 29’s upscale sister models.)
