Hey now, I was excited when I found out he worked on A Troll in Central Park. Not too well-known a film (I know you’ll say there’s good reason for that), but I loved that movie as a kid.
@Background Pony #36DB
Well, to be fair, I’m sure anyone would want to be labeled as “uncredited” if they worked on A Troll in Central Park. And that’s not saying the guy sucks, of course, I’m just saying that Don Bluth movie was terrible. XD

Holy shit, Luskwood. I completely forgot that was a thing. Probably some nearly 15 years ago. I did know he was Furry to some extent, as quite a many professional animators are, you can tell just by looking back at the videos on his channel.
I can’t speak on if Shawn identifies as a “Brony” or not, but I know he’s more than passingly familiar with both MLP and it’s fandom. He used to hang out on Second Life, in pony themed sims, and even made quite a few avatars, both pony and furry. Some of his work is still for sale in Luskwood, under the LuskToons brand.
@Cobalt Comet
Even more, he could be a MLP-fan and Cadance/Celestia picture on a computer wallpaper is just a hint. Avoiding of MLP-related stuff in a video could be a defence strategy against legal issues from Hasbro
It’s pretty obvious that Athena is very MLP-like. He’s an old animator, I’d be willing to bet he’s been familiar with MLP for quite some time, as well as knowing of the existence of the fanbase.
That’s what I say to IGN when it comes to the MLP movie. XD
Well the critics can bite me. lol
wow!
More power to you, I’m just saying it wasn’t a hit with the critics.

Searched for that, but couldn’t find anything.
Only an email address for business purposes only. (It’s on his YouTube channel about page)
You wrote him/ Does he have a Facebook or Twitter account or something?

The design similarity is intentional.

Funny enough, It’s what I noticed FIRST before your circled pic.
At the very least he knows about them.
