Everything feels cramped in Tell Your Tale. It’s not good for actual character exploration or meaningful story telling. You can’t tell truly great stories in just five minutes.
True.
Still, I doubt she expected to become the show’s equivalent to a goddess. She wanted them all to be united, something very different from turning herself into the Avatar of Ponykind and now she feels everything is on her.
Well, she was always big on trying to disprove her town’s superstitions about the other pony tribes. It only seems natural that she’d become the heir to Twilight’s legacy.
The way she said “I’m the Alicorn” makes it clear that the role has been bestow upon her and she feels like she’s the sole responsible for her entire species magic.
As if “I’m the one who has to do it”.
