This is another “reward” for completing the CMC’s, Granny Smith’s and Big Mac’s nightmare night customes.
Which also has the freaking time limits going on later. Dx
It’s seems that Starlight Glimmer has a strong competitior here as being the most “glitterest” pony. XD
glitter glitter glitter
Yeah, Gameloft, could you give a proper name to this “Glitter Pony”, please?
Eeyup, and all three stars here… Dx
oh you finished?
Yes! I’m totally agree of what you say right there! XD

I actually fully understand and aware of what you guys are talking about. ;-)
Thanks for the sharing the news about that “lawsuit copyright stuff”. XD
Anyway… I’m actually waiting for another update for the MLP Party Puzzle game…. Dx
I’ve managed to beat some of the harder levels w/o relying on any power-ups; it just takes a matter of skill, luck and patience.
But besides that, I see your point.

Seems that way. I downloaded Puzzle Party just recently and it plays so much like Cookie Jam, which is another Match 3 F2P mobile game. Same business practices, similar objectives, same scoring system, and even has an end-game bonus thing. It’s not an exact clone of Cookie Jam, but it’s the same genre and takes a lot of the same mechanics.
I don’t really know how similar Puzzle Party is to Toy Blast, but I feel that in a mobile game, it’s easy to accidentally make something that looks lifted such as a level that looks and plays the same. There’s not an infinite number of ways you can make a match 3 level with the same limited moves mechanic as Cookie Jam or Toy Blast. It’s hard to say if a company should be allowed to own a mechanic or a level design because it could end up killing competition if one company owns the right to a way an entire genre should design their games.
@Seabridge Drive
In early levels, yes, but like I said above, this game reminds me of Cookie Jam, and in that game, the later levels get so difficult that you can’t beat them without buying boosts and extra lives. It’s an example of building the game around punishing you for not buying items, which is also what city-builders like the Gameloft game do on top of requiring you to buy items to progress.
When I enjoy a good game, I don’t mind getting sold extra stuff because it’s supporting the company for making a good product. When the game pushes microtransactions in my face or makes them a requirement for progressing in the game, then I put the game down and never touch it again.

Yeah thankfully for Puzzle Party, it doesn’t enforce you to pay anything to a high degree, it’s just there as an option. I love games like that.
Yeah. I’ll give it a download especially if the game doesn’t get near-impossible near the end unless you buy stuff. Some match-3’s do that, but others don’t and manage to stay fun without forcing you to buy anything to progress.
I don’t mind microtransactions in a free-to-play game, but I hate when you have to pay hundreds of dollars in real money to get everything in a game that has less depth than something I can get on Steam for $10.
Never heard of Toy Blast before. Oh well, still find Puzzle Party much more enjoyable than the Gameloft game. XP
It’s related to some dispute based on the game copying Toy Blast. Forgot it was that and assumed this was some unofficial game getting C&D’d because I don’t pay attention to pony news much. :/
My bad.

Oh? This is new to me.
If only that game wasn’t getting the creators sued.
And that’s why I moved on to another better alternative ; )
…and this is why I don’t play this game anymore.
(Numbers are arbitrary, but my point still stands on these free-to-wait exploitathons that are popular on mobile.)

I cannot believe that is an actual name.
She does look beautiful in overall appearance, and seems to have an interesting character background though, maybe? :-P
Kinda waste that Gameloft just named her as “Glitter Pony” here… Dx
