It’s been a whole 20 days since I last uploaded, yeah? I don’t have any excuse other than recovering from the mental strain of many personal problems. So have this picture I made a couple of months ago. Oh! And a story cause I have the time.
 
Happy summer time. It’s freakin’ boiling up in here.

It’s been a long time since he last came up here. It’s a beautiful sight, if not the best. He could see the sun in all its glory and it’s a perfect picnic spot for many. Kind of romantic, even. How he wished he could stay here forever so that he could ignore the stress and problems of everyday life.
 
He saw two pegasi fly by, travelling to what looks like a couple of stray clouds over in the distance. The weather team did announce that it would be a clear sky this evening. Why? He had no idea but he had to thank them for it. If not for them, he wouldn’t have seen the bright orange and purple colors that painted the sky.
 
He reached out to touch the white petals of a nearby flower. Feeling it’s texture and softness before retracting his hoof back to him again. It’s been a long time before he was able to feel anything but quill and paper.
 
Somedays in his workspace, he would look out the window specifically at the same hill that he is on today and dream about being there. Meditating, chucking stones, counting clouds…
 
He thought about the many things he would do once he gets the chance to climb up there once more. He made a list and checked it twice but the thoughts evaporated the moment he set hoof on the base of the hill. All he wanted to do instead was to lay on the grass and look out the sunset. Yet, he knew that, once the sun dipped below the horizon he would have to get back to work.
 
For now though? He was to lay down here. Smelling the green grass and looking out into the village below without a care in the world. He only had to watch himself from falling asleep and all would be good.
