Oh, don’t get me started on what constitutes a ‘proper’ representation of a rainbow. Long story short, a rainbow that has blue and purple is no worse than one with blue, indigo and violet. If anything, the extra distinction makes less sense because this sort of representation is based around commonly accepted colour terms, which blue and purple are while indigo and violet are not. As such, we simply don’t distinguish them as well and they seem similar compared to the other colours we consider part of the rainbow.

Is it because of winter or did the clouds around Rainbow’s house darkened because she’s depressed again?
