My dad’s car just died recently. He searched both the dealers and the classified ads. Initially he was looking for a motorcycle to have something cheap but rideable until we’ve paid off enough of our car loans (4 people in our family who all have to drive their own car to have a job. Insert Old Economy Steven image here.) but even those were running over $1500. He did eventually find a guy selling a cheap pickup truck, but it was still a couple thousand.
 
Every time I watch that scene with Peter car-hunting in the first Spiderman movie, I sigh and shake my head. It dates the fuck out of that movie.

on america (UE) probably not, but here on mexico theres old models like the “bocho” (old bettle models) who are very afordable this days, they look funny but are pretty good cars

Ever since “Cash for Clunkers” completely fucking gutted the used car market (since all the cars turned in had to be destroyed despite the fact that most of them were perfectly good cars) they’re 4k+ even for the beaters.

just like some other people have said i tink milky its simply adorable, i dont se her as a “fetish” toy, instead as a terrific well done plushie…sure 1300 dollars its a crap load of money i wouldnt pay for…hell with that i could buy an used car, still i tink that plushie looks adorable, and i just love the cow outfith, makes her extra adorable

I think she actually looks pretty cute, but damn that’s a lot of money to spend.

$1,300? That’s it. I’ve got to learn how to make plushies.
