(After some struggling, Confetti Popper was able to guide his mother to the meeting spot and saw Buck already there with Big Mac; his own blindfold still on)
 
Popper: Alright, we’re here! Stay silent for a minute ok? Sit here!
 
(Lil’Buck and Popper had Big Mac and Sugar Belle sit across from each other and smiled at one another)
 
Buck: Alright.. Ready?
 
Popper: Go!
 
(Popper pulls Sugar Belle’s blindfold down while Buck tears Big Mac’s blindfold off. Big Mac and Sugar Belle stare at each other in shocked silence for a moment then turn to the colts)
 
Sugar: Popper.. what is this all about?
 
Mac: Buck?
 
Buck: Before you say anything else, just hear us out!
 
Popper: Mom… I want you to get back together with Big Macintosh!
 
Sugar: W.. wait what? How did you even-
 
Buck: We found an old picture of the two of you together..
 
Popper: And you both looked so happy!
 
Buck: We just thought we’d remind you of that.. *points towards the picture they layed on the ground, right in front of the intertwined Apple and Pear tree Bright Mac and Buttercup left behind*
 
(Big Mac and Sugar Belle look at the picture and up at the tree and then back at each other, but much to the boys disappointment, they look away and sigh)
 
Mac: Buck.. It aint that easy..
 
Popper: Well why can’t it be?!
 
(Sugar Belle and Big Mac look at Confetti Popper in surprise at his outburst)
 
Sugar: Popper..!
 
Popper: Come on! You both know you’re meant for each other! Why else would all that happen to both our families if you weren’t?!
 
Sugar: Confetti Popper, that’s enough-
 
Popper: No! *tears forming now* You’re the ones who don’t understand! I want you to be happy mom.. You’re not happy. I know you can be happy with Big Macintosh! Buck thinks so too…
 
Buck: Big Mac.. I know you’ve been lonely too since Cheerilee and you divorced.. And I know you’re scared. I know you miss Gala, we all do.. Don’t ya think she’d want you to be happy?
 
(At the mention of Gala’s name, Big Mac’s eyes widened and he looked away again)
 
Mac: ….
 
Sugar: Boys.. This isn’t the way to-
 
Popper: It was the only way. Please, just consider it again? You can’t tell us you don’t still have some feelings for him?
 
Sugar: Well, I… *looks at Big Mac*
 
(Despite her unsure expression, Buck and Popper can see her affection in her eyes.)
 
Sugar: Of course I do.
 
Mac: What? *gasps and looks at her*
 
Sugar: Big Mac.. I never stopped caring about you.. And that’s never going to change. *looks at Confetti Popper* But like Big Macintosh said; it’s not that easy..
 
Buck: … Well why not?
 
Popper: Yeah, tell us exactly why it’s not that easy? You two are perfect for each other, we all know it. Why are you two being so stubborn?!
 
Sugar: Popper..
 
(After a short silence, Big Mac stands up)
 
Buck: No, please dont leav-
 
Mac: *says nothing and picks up the photograph, looking at it* ah remember this day..
 
Sugar: *walks up to him and looks at the photo in his hooves* Me too. That was our first official date.. That was such a wonderful day.
 
(Confetti Popper and Buck watch in silence, their eyes hopeful)
 
Mac: … I’ve missed you.
 
Sugar: I’ve.. missed you too. But so much has happened.. I don’t know how..
 
Mac: And even if we did..
 
Sugar: The distance will still be there..
 
Mac: .. It still won’t work, will it? After all this time..
 
Popper: Wait, no! *walks up to them* What “distance”? What are you two hiding from each other?
 
Sugar: Popper.. it’s not that. It’s just, the literal distance.
 
Buck: What?
 
Sugar: I can’t leave our town, Popper.. They need me there. And it’s so far away from Ponyville, a relationship like this just wont work. The distance interferred with us those many years ago, and it’ll interfere with us again..
 
Buck: Why don’t you just move here? You can branch your shop off from Sugar Cube Corner and Sweet Apple Acres! It would be a huge hit!
 
Sugar: Popper, I can’t just abandon my shop.. That’s my home. And I already know plain as day Big Mac will not leave the orchard.. His place is on the Apple Farm. Mine is-
 
Popper: With Big Mac. *interrupted*
 
Sugar: Popper, I just-
 
Popper: You can’t just make a final decision without thinking about everything!
 
Sugar: Confetti Popper, this is my life you’re talking about, this is my decision!
 
Popper: But it’s not really what you want! If it was, you wouldn’t have that tear in your eye!
 
(Sugar Belle gasped and felt the tears forming in her eyes)
 
Sugar: I just.. I don’t know what to do..! I can’t just abandon the town..
 
(After a silence, Buck spoke up)
 
Buck: Have you asked Banner to take over your shop?
 
(They look at him)
 
Sugar: Banner…?
 
Buck: Party Banner is plenty old enough.. Have you even considered passing the shop down to him?
 
Popper: Yeah! Banner loves baking with you! I’m sure he would.. Mom, please, just try?
 
Sugar: *silently looks around and locks eyes with Big Mac* I.. What if this doesn’t work? I don’t want to-
 
Mac: Go.. I’ll still be here. Whatever choice you make…
 
(Sugar Belle stares into his eyes silently before turning back towards Confetti Popper)
 
Sugar: Come on, Popper.. We have a lot to talk about when we get home.
 
(Popper and Buck look at each other, nervous expressions, and silently say bye as Popper follows Sugar Belle out of the orchard)
 
Buck: Are you considering it, Big Mac?
 
Mac: *staring up at the tree his parents planted, with sadness in his eyes* Is this really what Gala would’ve wanted for me…
