Now that the latest chapter of “My Big Fat Pink Wedding” has released, it’s time to show off Queen Chrysalis’s horrifying new form: “Hyper” Chrysalis!

She achieved this form by getting a chance to say “I do” and kissing Cheese Sandwich at his and Pinkie’s wedding, which she hijacked. Had she done it in “Canterlot Wedding” in the canon show, this would have happened, but she wasn’t aware of how much more power she could absorb with the kiss, plus she felt good enough just being more powerful than Celestia (plus Discord was not around to help the ponies at that time).

Why does she get all this power just from a kiss? Well it can’t just be any kiss. Cheese would have kissed her a few times earlier in her Pinkie disguise, but the kiss at a wedding has to do it because that is the most pivotal moment in any relationship and a lot of love is put into it, resulting in super powerful love magic. She nearly didn’t get this kiss since the Pinkie clones stopped the wedding, but Chrysalis managed to fight on and trick everyone till the deed was done. It’s a little hard to see, but if you look closely, there is a little line on her bottom lip. That is because her lower jaw can split in half to form mandibles whenever she roars. She also has holes in her cheeks to give her a more menacing look. And those claws on the tips of her legs are sharper than they look too. I really went for the fear factor with this design.
