Some time after Big Macintosh’s divorce with Sugar Belle, he and Cheerilee became very close, and it didn’t take long for them to realize that they were really in love with each other.

It took a while for Big Mac to decide to ask Cheerilee out, as he was still too shy for this sort of thing, even though he had been married before.

Luckily Cheerilee agreed to go out with him. And their meeting was a success. And before long, they both finally became a new couple in Ponyville.

It’s depressing when fan works actually do a better job tying up loose ends than the actual series creators.
